Seriously it seems you have no clue about what's going on here, a specially our youngsters critesize our system probabely like no where, but too bad we got too many opsticals to overcome.
and let me tell you something more if you critesized western policies twoards middle east like you do it for my country, you would be helping us at least.
it's easy to critesize a society from a proper working liberal democracy while you are off of the major problems that of turkey you are bitching.
you don't know that how we even pushed more thru so called "moderate islamist dictatorship" due to American middle east policies for a bit more than last 30 years.
Look what's going on in Syria, Asad runs a dictatorship but at least a secullar one, His policies are way better than most of the arab countries, women have better position (at least politically),, when you go to a syrian resto, have your alcohol without being worried, Syrian government is way supportive for a western style of living we can say (no need to say you can brows porn without using a vpn software, unlike Soudi Arabia and Qatar WHO wants to bring democacy in there).
care to think once, what if Asad was unsuccessful and couldn't beat this so called Fsa and his radical allieds? 10-20 years later some spoiled american kid like yourself would come around to say how Syrian society is backward, how that place is messed up with intolerance etc.
i know topic has göne too far from what i meant to say, but as a person WHO has born and grew up in Turkey, i know the flaws and social illnesses of my society and they are undeniable.
to make you sure believe me that there are milions of youngsters ask for change (you may see the recent protests), but as i pointed out previously things are not as easy as some of you people may think and i m sorry but the governments you voted have their own share in that picture.
