So as with Tumblr, they don't have a problem with porn, just with making money off porn. An almost exact replica of Tumblr's policy, despite them being entirely separate companies.

So why is social media not against porn, but against the monetization of porn? I personally think it's because porn is a soft target, to test out policies that could eventually spread to mainstream. Will Google ultimately have terms that say "we're sorry, but any advertising other than Adsense contravenes our new terms. If you have product reviews, then you must remove them ASAP. And if you are not "approved", then you must remove Adsense also, and you will not be allowed to sell anything on your website".

I have a theory, but you'd all shout me down if I voiced it. I just hope that Snowden dares to use the J word.
