In African countries today, for instance Mauritania, northern Nigeria, southern Somalia and Sudan, you could be executed for being gay. Question: is slavery worse than execution? What would you choose, faced with that? Everyone says they'd prefer death, but strangely enough real people who have been faced with that choice often choose slavery.
I am saddened by the constant "greatest victim" fight. What it really means is, you don't deserve as much remuneration as I do.
