I simply don't understand how any program can have costs that outweigh their profits.
Its bad business management if they do.
If a program is spending more than they are making its because the people who own it are idiots, especially a revshare based program.
Cut back on the amount of content you update, lower hosting costs by getting a cheaper plan (many hosting companies will match or better the price for new clients than what they already have), lower payouts, reduce staff, there are so many options available to program owners when it comes to reducing their financial burdens that will still allow them to keep their sites open.
Unless you have debts way above your head as a program owner, there is absolutely no reason to close a revshare based program down period other than mis-management by the owner.
