Windows 8 seriously isn't bad. I'm no fan of 'Metro' myself, but when I was using Windows, I never once saw it after installing Classic Shell (I also tried Pokki and liked it as well) on the first boot, I never saw or used 'Metro' once. And once you bypass 'Metro', it's all golden... a much improved version of Windows 7.
