IBD and IBS are 2 totally different things. It's one of those weird medical terminologies that really screws things up. IBD is an actual disease with genetic factors involved. IBS is more of a disorder than can often be changed or least helped through diet.

People with IBD usually only see slight changes if anything with changes to their diet. There is moderate and severe versions of it. I'm somewhere in the middle so not losing my colon anytime soon.

I have colitis, when I was on meds it did little for me. When I stopped overworking myself I just got better. Stress does have a big affect on it. For some people their guts seem to take all their stress. I notice that when I am stressing that's when I start having the most problems.
