Within the last couple of years I came to know of a girl that is Arab but lives in a westernized manner.
The thing is, she dresses and acts and passes for a man, even having some sporadic facial hair.
Now since this is more pronounced since I first met her, I can't help but wonder if the progression toward a male stature and "at first glance" appearance is out of choice or because of a desire to be free from cultural chains.
