I'm a Belgian resident, always voted for political parties claiming they want to protect the typical belgian way of life... The problem is our political system. Because we make coalitions to make our governement, we cannot make strong decissions...
In the end, nothing gets done :-(
There are parts of brussels (our capital) where the cops don't ever go, unless there is a murder or a rape.... They don't patrol the streets any more (and they admit to it to).
I really hope things will change in our favor in the future, but i'm really pessimistic.
