I wouldn't say 40% of threads here are about black oppression or whatever, however it has increased quite a bit with the trayvon thing. i don't know, maybe i just don't get it as we don't seem to have such problems in canada. maybe its more like the first nations people problem here. they are constantly protesting that they aren't being treated fairly. as far as i see that problem here in canada, sure they got a raw deal in the past and that sucks but if they continue to live on the reserve they have no future. we are all just people, white, black, whatever and we all have a chance to make it or break it and its 99% up to the individual. some have a way better start than others, social programs are important to help those who were not as fortunate to have a decent start in life but i won't be made to feel bad for what happened in the past as i was not a part of it.
