Got ya. I was just pointing out that it takes a lot of dedication to actually take your body to it's full genetic potential and get the maximum growth of every muscle on your body.

It's too much for me because it's not my thing. But I assure you...I'm just as badly obsessed with shooting our scenes and also playing music. So I do understand that mindset of thinking about it 24 hours a day.

I would guess that for a serious pro-bodybuilder making top dollar...that you would have to be in that "zone" 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
There's only room for a relative handful of people at the top.

Your buddy who "abused steroids" wasn't even in the same league as the pro bodybuilders. As I was saying earlier...they have a team of doctors who measure out their supplements, meals, and anabolic steroids for optimal growth and health all the while testing every day for any negative effects and taking actions to keep that under control.

None of us normal folks (like your buddy) could ever afford to do what the IFBB pro's do.
Just like none of us can afford to train like a top NFL star, etc.

So yeah, I can see how your guy could have tried to get to their level...and then failed. It just isn't possible for a person to do that on their own.

Lots of guys do however get really big and really ripped without a team. Just by taking testosterone and the correct anabolics along with hard workouts and proper diet.
The guys right here in Vegas at Chippendales at The Rio, or "Thunder Down Under" at Excalibur are good examples of being big and chiseled and still living a "normal" life.

EDIT: Fifty "fat ass" webmasters and twink OP's
