He wants to be seen as a HERO, from being a Vigilante, um Neighborhood Watch, to rescuing car crash victims.
I guess Daddy was too busy to give him much attention as a child, so he now has to try to get it for himself as an adult. Good attention or bad attention. Anything will do.
