Zimmerman is nothing more than a douchebag who wanted to be a police officer so bad it made his panties wet.

*le sigh*
You know what that kind of evidence is called? "Circumstantial evidence".
It has very little weight in trials because anything can be taken out of context and bent to suit one's purpose.
But two can play the game
Martin loved to fight, as proven by his text messages:

Martin was suspended from school after being caught vandalizing property, in possession of jewelery which did not belong to him and a bag with traces of pot

So reading that I can
assume Martin was a wanna-be gangsta, angry at the world and looking to lash out, so when he saw Zimmerman following him he found a smaller, weaker man to take out his rage on.
Just like you
assume that Zimmerman was a blood-thirsty vigilante simply because he was interested in the law.
That's the problem with circumstantial evidence.
And I know, the judge did not allow that
circumstantial evidence to be heard, but it's funny how that puts Martin in quite a different light.
