ok, why is public fucking illegal? How does that not intrude on my freedom of expression? It is illegal because who in fuck wants their kids to see that? And rightly so - we're the adults, and as such most of us want to preserve kids being kids for as long as possible, before they see all the shit, and depravity (much of which is enjoyable for us adults, so don't get me wrong - but we're mentally developed enough, no matter how much we might think that things don't affect kids mentally).

As for the sunglasses - yeah, you do - you go only to parks where you know that doesn't happen, and make sure your kid only has enough bus fare to go to the safe parks, and not the ones 15 miles further that your kid can't afford to travel to - unless of course someone else's kid gives them the money. It's not the quick-fix sunglasses solution, that is prevalent in society today - give me quick fix! so I can do what I want, when I want, how I want, and so on, but it's the same thing as saying fuck everyone else, if they don't like it, it's up to them to supervise their kids 24/7 when engaging in something that is 100% a part of everyday life now - it's not some priveleged thing for the minority. Just like there's a watershed for TV, where you know that at 6pm you can let your kids channel hop to their hearts content and have no worries, the internet is accessible by almost everyone, and yes, kids should have some kind of safety net. Adults aren't the only ones with home computers and internet access, and nor should they be - how fucking selfish is that?

The list we're all on anyway when we opted out for our mobile phones?
The other issue with this whole announcement, though, is much more damaging to the industry than the filtering - the banning of 'extreme' porn. Hell, the majority of the web sites I've worked on since starting in this industry would be shut off completely for UK viewers.
Yup, that's fucked up.

And I know I'm all off skew with my reply lol, just done 4 x 16 hour days on the trot, and I'm not as lucid as I normally (arguable, I know) am
