I'm not saying the sex action is bad. Just the repeated dark backgrounds look unusual to me. Just my opinion.

I have to agree with you here. I'd stick to natural light any day over strobes, ring lights, etc. Looks like it was shot by a first timer with their new slr with the flash on.
Not saying it's bad, just not my style.
