My wife has RA - and as much as I don't like to dwell on or consider the worst - there's the very real possibility she may become a bed-ridden invalid some day. I'll be right there by her side through it all. I'd have it no other way.
As I said above - anyone who'd consider divorcing someone because they've become physically or mentally incapacitated...is a soulless asshole.
