You are lying. Detectives fully investigated and eventually even the state attorney generals office got involved and found there was not enough evidence to prosecute. It was the governor that appointed a special investigator and circumvented a normal process of giving what limiter incidence there was to a grand jury to determine if there was enough evidence or not and then forced them to file murder 2 charges.
