A little known story about Manwin Hotel. A story Fabian didn't tell during his AVN keynote speech.
Like Don Lapre, Fabian also used to also live in a one room apartment, which just happens to be on the 2nd floor of that hotel. Every day he would sit in front of his computer, writing code and eating Ramen Noodle for every meal, dreaming about the day he would take the porn world by storm with a well orchestrated plan of total domination. However, due to the constant sounds of prostitutes having sex in the rooms under his were very distracting and they often cut his day dreams short. Fabian vowed to one day return to the Manwin Hotel, buy it, and turn it into a parking lot.
Fast forward many years later when a name was needed for his new global enterprise, he thought back to his early years where he struggled in his one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of the Manwin Hotel, and the sounds of prostitutes having sex that used to disturb him, and the only logical choice for a name was Manwin.
Fabian did later return to the Manwin Hotel to buy it, but Mrs. Liu was not interested in selling her family business. Rumors are Fabian bought the entire block and a seat on the city zoning board, and Mrs. Liu will soon be forced to close due to multiple zoning violations. At that time, it is expected that Fabian will then be able to buy Manwin Hotel and finally turn it into a parking lot, along with all the other buildings in the block. "Manwin Park" (the first porn themed amusement park) is expected to be unveiled sometime in the third quarter of 2016.
