I like the header, to me it fits the vibe (sort of industrial) and color scheme of the site really well
It's cool that you have a search bar, but right now it's occupying a fairly prominent space (top right of the header). Maybe consider moving the search bar to the sidebar so you can put something a bit more compelling in the top right? Just an idea...chances are anyone who want to do a search will scroll down to check out the home page first anyways.
also, just a little spelling issue, it should probably be 'Live Cams' without the apostrophe
