How did I get here?
Long story short, I've met a series of setbacks for the last 2 years, none of which could have been detected or even avoided, I spent 6 months on a new mainstream project that fell flat on it's ass due to 3rd parties and now we are back to square one on that. I've blown through what little savings we had left to keep bills as current as they could be, food, diapers, meds for the kids etc etc and for the last few moths we've literally become a zero income household.
I have offers for work that are "pending" I have content sales that are "pending" most recently I had an individual who was to pay an deposit for custom video content vanish off the net for the last 7 days, that deposit alone would have saved our assess.
Why Don't You.....
Over the past few months I have tried damn near everything to generate money (all the legal avenues I mean lol) Talked to friends, family, local and state agencies etc etc, either we do not qualify or there is a 1 year plus wait for help, and I also just found out they closed the shelter here in town so even that as a worst case scenario is no longer viable.
What Happens If You Raise The Needed Money?
I have a series of goals and plans in regards to the money, the first $100 will keep the phone and internet up for another 30 days (due for shutoff tomorrow) after that the next will go to the landlord to halt the eviction and give us another 30-60 days to come up with the rest of the back rent and current rent.
The total target money needed to get us back into the black would be just under $6k and that would also provide a little breathing room for the next few month or so. (ONE good sale could solve all the issues)
Future Plans:
I've recently gotten back into fulltime production of my 3D toon content (have not made content for licensing in the last 2 years) The current need for 3D Toon content deff lies in video content as little to none exists, and everyone wants it.
In my downtime I've been learning steps to speed up my rendering times, added new software to my processes and am now happy to announce that I will VERY SOON be switching up to video production as my core content production creating 5-7 min HD video content for licensing. Current projections and tests show I SHOULD be able to produce up to FIVE 5-7 minute videos per week once I have my new systems in place (need another $2k - $3k to make that happen double that number and I can double the video output by setting up a renderfarm)
Once I am able to start the video production money shouldn't be an issue as everyone seems to be begging for video content and only 2 that I know of are even attempting to create it, and my prices and quality will not be beaten.
So that's it, I come to you all hat in hand asking not for a hand out but a hand up, and not asking something for nothing, or making promises to repay etc etc, this is your chance to pick up my content at fire sale prices, secure exclusive content for a fraction of the normal prices and help a 15 year vet of this industry save his house and family.
