Whether you are great or not, I have no clue, but your personal marketing strategy is a huge conflict with itself. Either run with the great factor and get jobs because you are great at what you do, or be humble and run with the broke factor and get some jobs to help you out and get you on your feet again.
What you should be doing, instead of arguing with people over your greatness, is contacting every single person that runs a 3-D site of any sort and offer them a great deal to get the cash you need. I can think of two potential buyers, that make a lot of money from 3-D, right off the top of my head and I'm not involved with 3-D at all.
Find them, contact them, offer them a killer deal, get back on your feet.

sly, I agree you with most of your post, and have done that over and over, (hell I lost count of all the emails I've sent to top Bucks since you guys debuted your toon stuff, NEVER EVER got ANY reply from anyone) I remember sending out hundreds of emails to companies that do 3D in some shape or form, and at best 2 replies come back., I also hardly fill those cold calls with links and instead just try to open the lines of communication with companies.
that trend continued more and more over the months before I left 2 years ago because everyone ONLY wanted Video content and I did not make video content, and new things like bounced emails, dead domains etc etc cropped up.
Again Sly, I QUIT 2 years ago, did not produce or attempt to sell ANYTHING since 2011. during the past 2 years I literally lost EVERY bit of my savings due to a number of things, none had anything to do with 3D toons, or how great I may or may not be.
I came back not even 3 weeks ago, made a new package and sold it to a few companies already but when you are having to start over financially from 0 a few micro sales don't save you.
I will once again contact all the companies in 3D and toons in the coming months but only when I have something they want, because anything else is just insanity right?
