The good that has come from the food stamp program is not debatable. Has it gone too far? Would we all like to see some change? Would anyone really want to see it closed?

The states have shifted huge amounts of dollars for the poor from state welfare to SSI. This is not really a Democrat/Republican thing but it has put Social Security in jeopardy. Does anyone want to deal with it?

Who cares if Bush or Obama was worse? Maybe the parties should instead talk about moving forward on some pretty serious stuff. The debt is huge and interest rates are going up. Maybe we look at some of that stuff instead?
Fact is it's bad now,( Bush or Obama, this is bad) the person in charge is not doing a thing to make it better, instead the FDA is working with the Mexican government to better inform the new illegal aliens we are getting to use food stamps. Social Security is in danger because of the National debt growing, that's where a lot of the money is coming from/

(I'm an Independent, but after Bush's reign of terror I have been considering switching to be a Democrat... just like the majority of the nation)
I was happy to go after Osama in Afghanistan, I didn't want occupation. I never liked the idea of going to Iraq. I really hate sending drones into countries that we are not at war with currently. Bush made me an independent as well.

Vote against all of the people who are currently in office.

But as of today, if you think Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be a republican in 2013 then you are absolutely out of touch with what has happened to your party.
Approval ratings according to the Gallup poll put the GOP at 26% and the Dems at 34 %, I thnink this is going to change with the new drive from the Unions to change Obamacare. I don't really care.

I never blamed anything on the Democrats, why would I? they didn't have any power till 2007

And? The IRS gives additional screening to a lot of different kinds of businesses. Just because an organization is a political one, it doesn't mean they should be treated any differently from my kid's tax exempt sports league. In fact, all of these political orgniazations across the board should be looked at a lot closer
The IRS admitted to targeting conservative groups!

Did Obama order this to happen? Nope.

So non story.
During talks all over this, it has been said that the orders came from Washington DC, he knew about it. Or maybe you have a better idea why the head of the IRS took the fifth?

To date the NSA hasn't done anything wrong or broken any laws. At the same time, bitch about the NSA all you want; All of this started... While Bush was in office directly after 9/11.
Fuck Richard, can you read? I don't give a fuck who started it, it's there and it's WRONG!
Obama said he was doing away with the patriot act, it's still there!

I've never even heard of this, but it sounds like some Republican mumbo jumbo that you quote from Fox news or something.
Guess I will educate you

Our healthcare is a mess and your President Bush failed to do anything about it. So we took the old Republican bill, dusted it off, improved it, and... The Republican party bitched like little children.

Funny thing, I just got a refund check from our healthcare. Seems part of Obamacare is is a new law called 80/20, where 80% of what we pay MUST go directly to healthcare and not over head. Win win.

A friend of mine has been soaked for the past decade with healthcare costs - His kid was born with a medical condition that will affect him for the rest of his life, and his wife has another condition that requires monthly medical care. Both problems were fixed under Obamacare.

Obamacare so far seems to be a lot better than it was without it.

Food stamps aren't up because of Obama. It's because before Obama took office our country was plunged into a massive recession. This was caused before Obama took office. Do not give me any shit saying "It's been five years" - It's not a four or eight year problem here. It's a ten or twenty year problem.

I take a look around me and things seem to be a lot better in the past two years. All of the construction that stopped has resumed, and even new condos are being built. No one I know about is complaining about being unemployed.

But of course you'll just rant saying we need to adjust how we factor in unemployment.

The best one you have Brett is the price of gas... You say "Price of gas was cheaper under Bush". You completely ignore the fact that gas was at it's all time high when Bush was in office. But that's okay, ignore that or blame it on the Democrats.

I am not a Democrat. I was a Republican. But man, you crack me up with your lies.
Fact is, under Obama is when the food stamp usage grew, if he was doing anything, they would be going down right?
Please show me what lies you are talking about? I have just put out facts, not opinions

Fuck me with a broomstick twice Brett, but come on... Even fucking Nixon scored higher.
Where did I say I liked Bush or even gave a shit about Bush, He's not in Charge Richard, Barry is, for the last five years. 400% increase in food stamps, 660% increase in drone usage.

Yeah, if you were watching MsNbc like I do in the morning, you would have read it's Bush's fault, sounds like a whinny little kid that blames everything on someone else, Barry needs to man up and take responsibility.

I personally don't giver a rats ass about who started it, it does very little for the country to place blame, but when the guy in charge after 5 years still can't take credit for what's going on, well that's a piss poor leader

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
