I bet it does feel good, and yes, it makes a huge difference.
I don't have any equipment at my house, but what I do is head over to my 24/7 gym, do my weight routine (if the day has it) then hit the elliptical for 45+ minutes.
That's when I watch my shows through through streaming services or get my podcasts checked off. Cardio is good in that it flushes your circulatory system. A strong heart results in a strong mind (circulation with valid proof to back it up).
Actually if you want to improve mental fitness, exercise will make much more of a difference than diet can.
