I'd like to go open source instead of using Wowza, since it means that we can use it on as many servers as necessary. That will allow us to scale with load and provide redundant backup servers without having to purchase new licenses like with Wowza.

Thing is, can it stream to ipads and other apple devices? I've read that it can't but was also told that there's an addon you can use that will allow it. If not, I may be forced to use Wowza, which I don't really want to do.

Is there an alternative video streaming server that will also work with ElevatedX?
