Sorry for the question, but the wowza license is not expensive, the servers and bandwidth it is. If you fill a server so much that you need another one, this is lots of terabytes so the bandwitdh cost is 100 times the wowza license cost (or more), I would simply go wowza to be sure all it is supported (we have not much of a choice because in live video we need realtime audio transcoding, this cost a separate license per stream however, that can get expensive).
