The stories don't vanish. The stories simply never happen because they are over exaggerated nonsense.
I see people talking about World War III again because of Syria. Newsflash: Russia and China are too busy making money. They are not going to give up money over some shitstain country that only causes grief for everyone. They will issue a "stern response" and maybe mobilize some military units to show that they still have muscles and appease said shitstain country.
