obviously cnn corp has an obligation to the bottomline, that's the law, so sure they produce news *stories* to make money, but the op article just lists 1 ~13 minute segment not being aired as proof of some sort of conspiracy between cnn and foreign states, while i wouldn't be surprised, i don't think that's enough proofs.
cnn can choose wtfever docs they want to show or not, i'd wager they get presented with maybe 100 docs a day for possible broadcasting, besides isn't most of cnn airtime comprised of talking heads? that's not news, that's opinions on the news, cnn must make a shitton of money broadcasting more opinions of news than actual news, just based on which of those takes up more airtime.
+ i'd be interested in seeing the accounting ledger for taking cash from foreign states for not showing docs, that's gotta be clever accounting!
