we spent a ton of time getting people registered on our site and had over 5,000, but when we loaded them into mailchimp, they told us we had to go through their validation, which means it sends an email to everyone asking if they would like to be mailed - double or even triple opt-in at this point.

YNOT Mail doesn't have such restrictions. You are required to be Spam compliant, and we trust that you are. To date we've only had one person that hasn't been and he was quickly down.

This is always an option, but this assumes you want to invest the money into a sever and then time into setting it up AND investing the time into researching how to do it properly. Make a mistake and suddenly your IP is black listed and everything goes to spam. With YNOT Mail you can just say "This email went to spam, tell me why" and we will try to trouble shoot it for you.
