I'm going to revamp a bunch of promo material for my vintage paysite including banners and other graphic stuff...

From my experience as an affiliate, most programs have a shit-ton of banners of seemingly random sizes & shapes - really overkill IMO (especially since I just whip up my own for programs I promote whenever possible).

I'm looking to just find maybe 3-5 somewhat "standard" dimensions and go with that (in addition to the usual custom stuff on affiliate request).

What are some good sizes to use these days if you had to narrow it down? I'm assuming the gradual move from laptop/desktop monitors to devices with high resolution but small screens (tablets etc) is going to affect that stuff going forward.
