i have been to Phuket and can highly recommend it. you have a couple of great beaches and when you go to the south (Nai Harn/Rawai) it's relatively quiet but still very enjoyable. And if you want to party there is still Patong
and it's pretty safe, take care of your stuff the way you do at home too and it's fine
also i would highly recommend to throw in a couple of days in Bangkok, great city.

I'm going in Thailand for 3 months with my girlfriend. She NEVER traveled so I want to offer her the best experience possible. She's kind of insecure already so just the change of culture, etc will be a big thing for her.
After reading this, I will definitively focus on the Phuket area. Looking for a penthouse/condo/villa or something in the 60,000 - 100,000 baht range.
I looked up on your Hotel resort... very nice but expensive for my monthly budget. We might go there for the first few days to see what is available in the rental market.
Otherwise, if you know online rental site which is not trying to rent 2-3x the price, interested. Found a few sites listings Pattaya rentals but not looking go there if it's shitty overall...
Also, we will go in Bangkok for sure.. want to have a few days/weeks there maybe.
Question: My GF is tall, blonde, blue eyes... The style of clothing she wears here is kind of tight and very attractive (not in the bitch way, but you can see she has great legs, butt, etc.) I told her she might have to relax a bit because it might be dangerous, disrespectful, etc... any feedback on that? She agrees if we visit temples, stuff like that, but what about Phuket, Bangkok, in general?
