Too much technology?

My wife and I have noticed our cells phones are trying to predict what we do...

My cell phone - Android - seems to know I like biking. Any time I'm out on my bike or visiting a local bike shop, it seems to want to guide me to a certain bike shop the next town over. The other day we were at Home Depot and my wife's cell phone keep asking her if she needed directions to Lowes three miles away.

This morning a family member is flying in from Southern California, and their flight info popped up on both of our cell phones this morning as a reminder. Although I haven't talked to my mother in law in two weeks, my wife has, but my cell phone was smart enough to make the connection that my mother in law is coming to visit us and decided to give me the info too.

It's almost like my cell phone is trying to tell me what to do.

At what point does this become too much?
