Since the end of WWII, weapons of mass destruction are no longer acceptable in any form, be it nukes or chemical weapons. This is why they have never been used since then.

You are right on the principle, but who decides when it changes ?
For example, it wasn't ok to be gay, let's say 10 years ago and now every country should consider that it's acceptable.

The problem is that there is not one society and your sentence states that for the world there is only one opinion. That's a flaw. Again, USA and france are just neocolonialist to state what is acceptable or not.
