I think you might be misunderstanding what I am saying...
I'm trying to say that we should have stayed out of it BECAUSE we fuck it up worse everytime.
Assad has never threatened any country with chemical weapons. But now that Syria is destabilized (and we are wanting to destabilize it FURTHER)...we are possibly looking at chemical weapons falling into the "wrong hands" and then being used against other countries in "terror" attacks.
If we had stayed out of it from the beginning...his govt. would have quelled the unrest 2 years ago. Instead we have fanned the flames and the fighting has gone on and on and now one of the two sides has used Sarin (probably Assad, but who knows?).
We should have learned this lesson by now. It NEVER turns out "good" when we stick our nose into other countries.
And of course...it's also illegal as hell according to international law.
The United Nations was established for a REASON.
It's not supposed to be easy to attack another country.
And after what happened with the Bush Admin and Iraq...and all the recent "whistle blowers" revealing what the United States govt. has been up to...it's pretty obvious that we are not being told the full story here.
I wouldn't put ANYTHING past the corrupt politicians in Washington D.C.
And I do NOT want to see my countries military bombing and killing the citizens of Syria.
