A common retort is: Because the potential for bad and evil people to exist, is the very reason you don't give them a plot of arbitrary land to monopolize and rule.
The ineffectiveness of statism should be obvious with 600 million dead directly due to their existence in the last 100 years.
Stateless societies certainly can exist, but it's multigenerational at this point. Governments control education and mass media, therefore their propoganda, their branding are deeply rooted in current societies.
Once we have a populace capable of critical thinking, we'll be free. Until then, we'll remain as cattle in these tax farms we call countries.
