Copyright is the same a you would normally expect. If you didn't create it and you haven't bought the rights then technically you can't post it unless you have permission. But I haven't heard too much about Tumblr taking a lot of stuff down for copyrights. Copyright infringement is rampant on Tumblr.
Interesting take. Thank you. Yes, it seems majority of tumblr blogs are using copyrighted material. You'd have to really come up with interesting images to be success otherwise. Something that the Crak team did point out is to make funny quote posts. I did that and that was the most popular reblog I've had. Imagine that. I didn't put my link in that one, though. I only link every so often.
