Well thanks for the feedback guys..

bronco67, yes I have an idea on how difficult rigging and animation is for 3D characters. (I am a rigger, and I worked a bit for the film industry).

But I didn't plan to do any animation for the 3D scans. I was thinking about adding some breathing motion, to make them look more alive. That's it.
The perfect situation would be to capture the motion directly and switching between scans as a movie does with images. Maybe in a few years..

Right now it's totaly possible for an average laptop (with 1Gb graphic card) to display a few scans, in stereoscopic view, at 60 fps.
