Ridiculous stuff in here now. The minimum wage should be raised and thereby would lift tens of thousands or more OUT of poverty and off of welfare, saving you, I and them money.
When GM was the largest employer in the country, they were paying an hourly rate which in today's money would be above $50 an hour. Today, Walmart is the largest employer in the country and their average hourly pay rate is $8.60. Which means you and me and their families, (ie: the government) subsidizes nearly every aspect of their life, AND they can't afford to spend a penny on the consumer products that, if they could afford them, would raise the entire economy.
But just carry on since GFY is not a place of learning.
