I build lots of projects. This is just a shit-ton of Arduino and assorted gear laid out on the bed. There's a bunch of Arduino units, LCD screens, GPS units, XBee (wireless) units, capacitors, resistors, LEDs, switches ... etc.
If you mean what's actually built on the left side, it was just a doodle where I hooked a potentiometer up to a servo, and actuated the servo from the setting on the pot. Here's a short video showing how it worked:
