Middle eastern terrorist groups of multiple denominations have been attacking western interests via the medium of the jet aircraft since the early 70's.
Al Queda has been attacking US interests throughout the Clinton era, Captain Bush was a delightfully juicy target. The fact that 9/11 was the first and only time that they had the audacity and considerable luck to attack on US soil seems to get you all into something of a tizzy.
Get over it. A determined group attacked the US. Their attack was so audacious that you had no defense against it. There was no conspiracy within the US government to commit the mass murder of 9/11. The US is roundly hated throughout the world. A determined group brainwashed by religious fervour and hatred flew planes into buildings. Thats it. Nothing else. Suicide bombings happen everyday throughout the world.
