My buddies dad runs a computer shop and they sold quite a bit of used computers and would travel to schools etc... and get tons/skids of shit for free as a secure means of disposal for them, some of it was kinda dated though, due to prices of new systems continuing to drop he say's the used market has kinda died off.
My cousin's husband has it a bit better as he custom builds powerful systems for businesses and he usually ends up getting their old systems. Garbage=recycled, Good=free parts He's also good at getting them to upgrade every few years around tax time.
So start a little computer store and have free disposal days or spam the hell outta craigslist offering free pick up but expect most of it to be garbage with a few gems.
