For these kids to just decide they will not play a game they "are" being paid to play, in the form of their college scholarship is a disgrace. In all honesty they should all have their scholarships revoked and remaining season cancelled. Then recruit incoming freshman that want to play a game for their free education.

Everyone knows the benefits are different from Grambling St to Florida St or Alabama. You don't like them, go to another school. But you don't have any right to just boycott a college game, the team they were supposed to play just lost a huge chunk of its income from the loss of game tickets (yes they had to refund people), concessions, all the activities people pay for while in town, etc...

I get the kids are upset over all these things and they are real pathetic situations they are being asked to deal with. But this was not the way to handle it.
