Been about 7 years for me. I had a bad bout of bronchitis. Before that I can't really recall the last time I took antibiotics.
Nice to see though that a lot of people have wised up and have backed off from taking them for every sneeze like it seemed people were for a while there There were kids back in the 70's I knew whose mothers got them on them for just about anything, and some of these "superbugs" going around these days some 40 years later are resistant to antibiotics largely due to overuse by humans.
A normal everyday kind of cold is not a reason to be taking ab's, at least not for regular healthy people.
