I am actually very well educated about the Cult of Latter Day Saints, I know members and ex members (escapees)- the erroneous opinion you just posted is verbatim LDS "Church" propaganda - they claim to have abandoned polygamy yet there are many high ranking "Church" Officials right in the middle of salt lake that have stash houses with secret wives...they get them young too...we all know that - like 13-15 years old...but the marriages are usually planned when the girls are about 7.
The higher ranking "Church" Men are let in on the long term plan to bring back Polygamy - it's part and parcel of their core belief system, they are just waiting for a chance to repeal the anti-polygamy laws and then it's party time again.
BTW The tour of Brigham Young's house never mentions his 50-plus wives.
Outside of Salt Lake and in surrounding states rural areas child bride polygamy is far more prevalent and the men have more wives than they dare take in the city.
