Linux Mint, or even better, LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition).

Also, Grub is not a BIOS and therefore does not touch your bios, it is a bootloader. It gets installed the the MBR (Master Boot Record) of the disk you installed Ubuntu on, or whichever disk you select.

But, spazzing out on GFY when it's clear you have no clue as to what you're talking about seems to be the norm, so carry on.
