We way have different opinions about the exact date (1989 for you or 1991 for me), be you are right there was not freedom, democracy and liberalism. Neither than and neither now -
in any country of the World. These words are just... words. Show me at least one country which you can call free, liberal and democratic one. The only "country" what comes on my mind is Somalia
