I'm happy to say there are about a zillion pizza shops here where I live. All types and manner of 'za you can think of. Some of it good, some of it absolutely world-class awesomeness, and some (like many of the big chains) are pure and utter crap.
But even the store-bought frozen pizzas can be good. Some of the newer kinds are actually pretty good all on their own, but for the rest, if you know what you're doing you can make it into a pretty passable pie. Just put it in the oven as normal, but about ten minutes before it's done add whatever other toppings you like on top of it and then cover it with an extra layer of cheese. Then put it back in and let it finish cooking.
Doing that changes an otherwise generic tasting pizza into something worth eating.
