Do you not remember the other council members just refusing to work with him?
I mean they have a job, which is to support the mayor, but because he cut their budgets they wouldn't do the job they were paid to.
Is the guy a mess? yes...is he good for the bottom line of toronto, yes
bad image maybe...but when it comes to dollars...this guy has cut the gravy train and it has gained him many powerful enemies.
I wish he would clean up his act. He still gets drunk and wanders around toronto sometimes. However, he and his brother are bulldogs when they show up for work in the morning, you can't take that way from them.
