And I'd like to thank PlugRush for coming to the table and working out a compromise which not only makes it clear PlugRush is a network that does not tolerate piracy but also a network which seeks to educate end users about the piracy issue.
For a while it seems that we were at crossed purposes, however after a lengthy discussion last night we were able to come to this agreement as described by Nextri.
During the next few days we will be preparing text for the DontStealPorn website, we will also be helping PlugRush determine the appropriate links to put on the site for people who need to report underage or illegal content to the proper places.
Obviously there may be some teething issues as this is implemented so I am sure PlugRush would welcome any feedback as would Copy Control from our end.
Over the next three months we will measure how this range of measures impacts the adoption of PlugRush by pirates and then review the situation together with PlugRush.
I think everyone involved can call this a win/win for common sense and an instant loss for the pirate sites which will lose ad revenue as a result of these measures.
