If it's politics, I tend to avoid it.
I've participated in enough dialogue over the years to know who is genuinely interested in having a discussion and who is just posting partisan tripe as bait to rile up the other side.
Here, it is usually parasites leeching attention and praise from one half of the population by character assassination of the other half.
