Mothers can get away with just about anything They can abandon their children, abuse them, neglect them, endanger them etc and then all of a sudden one day they wake up and decide they want to be a mom and the father will be stripped of custody. It happens all the time. It might not happen in this case but it is the norm. All a mom has to do is claim victim status and the average neanderthal walking this earth (especially most family court judges) WANT to believe the mother.
