I have never had Mucho traffic on sites but smaller targeted niche traffic on multiple sites which has provided very good conversion ratios over the last 10+ years.
A general tube site with tons of traffic may just eat bandwidth and convert like shit where a site with targeted niche traffic will blow it away on conversion ratio. My goal is not to have the most visitors but to have the traffic so finely tuned that my conversion ratio/ROI is untouchable by the big dogs and slowly scale it up as it takes time to maintain the quality. Having the most visitors doesn't interest me, having the most targeted/quality visitors does.
